Step into an engaging contract opportunity providing speech-language therapy services within a supportive and collaborative educational setting near Naperville, IL. This full-time position spans from August 13th through May 27th, offering the chance to work with diverse students across a school-based caseload.
You will make a meaningful difference in students lives, whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are seeking your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Professionals with backgrounds in pediatrics, teletherapy, or healthcare SLP are all encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for Illinois SLP licensure
- Certification: CCC-SLP or eligible for CFY supervision
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings
- Adaptability to serve across multiple school sites as itinerant
- Comfortable delivering teletherapy as needed
- Commitment to compliance with district policies, IEP processes, and ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each learner
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with educational staff and families
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with district protocols and IEP platforms (training provided)
- Schedule and deliver direct and indirect services, with paid time for indirect/admin hours and team meetings
- Foster a supportive environment for student progress in speech, language, and communication skills
