Job Description
This position is for a Speech Language Pathologist working in a school setting located in Naperville, IL. The role is contract-to-hire with full-time hours and a flexible weekly schedule. The caseload will consist of K-12 students, providing speech and language therapy services tailored to their individual needs.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Possession of Illinois SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) for Speech Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in schools, healthcare settings, or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and school regulations
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
