A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in Naperville, IL. This contract role runs from ASAP through 5/22/26, with part-time options available temporarily until 3/27/25. The position supports a 1.5 caseload serving students in Supported Education, Multi-needs, and Speech-only populations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy to students with diverse communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to work as an SLP in Illinois.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads that include Supported Education, Multi-needs, and Speech-only students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.
- 37.5 hours per week guaranteed for full-time roles.
