A school-based speech pathologist opportunity is available in Naperville, IL, supporting an elementary school setting. This role involves managing a varied caseload including students in Supported Education, Multi-needs programs, and those requiring speech-only services. Two positions are open, with options for full-time and temporary part-time assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to elementary students with diverse needs
- Manage approximately 1.5 caseloads, incorporating Supported Education and Multi-needs populations
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credential with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred, specifically with elementary-aged students
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population, including those with complex communication needs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Schedule and Duration:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM
- 37.5 hours per week guaranteed for full-time position
- Position start date ASAP through 5/22/2026 for full-time
- Part-time assignments available on a temporary basis through 3/27/2025
