Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending Illinois state SLP license
- Certification with ASHA (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Flexibility to travel between sites
- Positive attitude and excellent organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
- Maintain thorough documentation and complete all required reports in a timely manner
- Offer guidance and training to educational staff regarding speech-language strategies and interventions
