A school-based contract opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential support to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This role is based in the Fairfield, CA area and offers a dynamic caseload with a focus on early childhood through middle and high school students. The position involves working across multiple school buildings, delivering hands-on services to meet diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade.
- Manage a caseload typically including 35-40 students in Pre-K to 1st grade, 40-45 students in K-8th grade, or 50-55 students across K-12th grades.
- Collaborate with educators and special education staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Document student progress and participate in relevant meetings and assessments.
- Deliver onsite services to replace virtual offerings, ensuring consistent in-person support.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with diverse age groups and caseload sizes.
- Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and individualized education program (IEP) development.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple buildings.
- No Vocal-only SLP or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant candidates will be considered for this role.
Location: Fairfield, CA
Contract Duration: ASAP start through June 5, 2026
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week
