Job Description

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Napa, CA, supporting a school setting from August 20, 2026, through June 4, 2027. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services primarily to PreK and Kindergarten students, with a caseload of approximately 25-35 children. The position requires onsite work and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy tailored to early childhood learners.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Experience working in school settings with young children.
  • Candidates licensed out of state are considered if willing to obtain California licensure.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
