Job Description
Provide expert speech-language pathology services to young learners in an onsite school setting near Nantucket, MA. This travel position offers an opportunity to work closely with a diverse caseload of Pre-K through Grade 2 students, supporting their communication development and ensuring they reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 41 students from Pre-K to Grade 2
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License
- Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting with young children (Pre-K to Grade 2)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and family collaboration
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while participating in professional development
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite position located near Nantucket, Massachusetts
- Full-time hours, approximately 35-40 hours per week
- Travel role with accommodations provided for the onsite assignment
