Required Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Massachusetts (SLP)
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, working with K-12 populations
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and schedules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across K-12 caseloads
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Develop goals and treatment plans tailored to individual learners
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions
  • Consult and offer strategies to classroom staff to foster effective communication and learning environments
