Desired Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license (no supervision provided; full licensure required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Recent experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school-based settings
• Expertise supporting children with a range of behavioral and communicative disabilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, educators, and families
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and advocate for students individual needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and documentation
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to children with diverse behavioral needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure student success
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
• Provide guidance on adaptive communication strategies and resources
