What youll bring:

  • Active Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license (no supervision is providedmust be able to work independently)
  • ASHA Certification (SLP-CCC) required
  • Solid background in pediatric or school-based speech therapy
  • Experience working with students exhibiting a variety of behavioral challenges and needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to advocating for student success

Your role includes:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations for students referred by staff or parents
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment and intervention plans based on students unique needs
  • Delivering speech and language therapy in accordance with IEP objectives and state requirements
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive educational outcomes
  • Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records to support ongoing student development
  • Serving as a resource for staff and families regarding language and communication disorders
