Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Background in pediatric healthcare settings is a strong asset
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with educators and healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plan (IEP) development
- Monitor and report student progress regularly to ensure effective communication services
