Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist this fall. This assignment covers a maternity leave from October to mid-December and focuses on delivering impactful services across three school sites. Youll play a key role in helping students achieve communication milestones while collaborating with a supportive school community.

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity tailored for professionals passionate about pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology. Youll find yourself utilizing your clinical skills and experience to make a meaningful difference during a pivotal time in students academic journeys.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active California SLP license
  • SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or equivalent credential in good standing
  • Experience in pediatric, school, or teletherapy settings strongly preferred
  • Capability to manage a dynamic middle school caseload
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments specific to middle school needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services onsite
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in team meetings
  • Offer support and guidance to students, parents, and school staff
