Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Murrieta, CA, offering a contract position within an educational setting. This role is ideal for an experienced SLP dedicated to supporting students communication development in a school environment.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Familiarity with healthcare and school-based speech therapy services
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with preference for fully licensed candidates
  • Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders within school-aged children

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
  • Participating in meetings related to student progress and educational planning
