A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Murrieta, CA, offering a contract position within an educational setting. This role is ideal for an experienced SLP dedicated to supporting students communication development in a school environment.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Familiarity with healthcare and school-based speech therapy services
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with preference for fully licensed candidates
- Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders within school-aged children
Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing direct therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participating in meetings related to student progress and educational planning
