Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed at an elementary school setting in Muncie, IN, supporting a caseload of approximately 83 students. This position is under a special education cooperative serving Delaware and Blackford counties.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in a school environment
- Strong communication and assessment skills tailored to pediatric populations
- Ability to manage a full caseload and maintain detailed records
- Commitment to in-person service delivery at the school location
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech-language needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences
Location: Muncie, Indiana (Grissom Elementary School)
