Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8th students as a Speech Language Pathologist this fall. This full-time position (40 hours per week) is perfect for professionals passionate about pediatric speech-language services within a school environment, and is available August through November. As an onsite team member, you'll work closely with educators, families, and your Clinical Advisory Team to provide individualized services that foster communication growth and student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Wisconsin SLP license
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-8th grade students
- Solid foundation in pediatric speech-language pathology, including SLP-CCC or CFY
- Ability to provide services onsite in a school setting
- Background in healthcare SLP, teletherapy, or prior school-based therapy is beneficial
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions for a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, progress reports, and IEP contributions
- Participate in consultations with teachers, staff, and families
- Utilize best practices and evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Attend team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
