Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience with school-aged children and knowledge of IEP processes is highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Enthusiasm for fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify communication needs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with educational teams, families, and other support staff
- Support staff with resources and strategies to promote communication in the classroom
