Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a 0.4 FTE contract position during the 2026/2027 school year in Mount Vernon, WA. This role is perfect for professionals with experience in pediatric speech therapy, school-based services, teletherapy delivery, or completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC
- Experience working in educational settings or healthcare pediatric environments
- Skilled in teletherapy and in-person therapy methods
- Knowledge of school-based therapy regulations and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to support children with speech and language disorders effectively
- Completion or near completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred

Assignment Dates: 2026/2027 school year
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students

- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state speech pathology standards
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms when necessary to provide remote services
- Supporting student communication development for academic and social success
