Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to create engaging and individualized therapy plans

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide both direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and parents
  • Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school activities as needed
