Job Description

Located in Mount Lemmon, AZ, this Speech Language Pathologist position offers a rewarding opportunity to work onsite in a supportive school environment during the 26/27 school year. This full-time role includes a 37.5-hour workweek, providing direct services to students with Autism spectrum disorder, fostering their communication skills and educational growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students impacted by Autism.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all school policies and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
  • Degree of Education (DOE) in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • IVP fingerprint clearance card as required by the school district.
  • Experience working with students affected by Autism is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an educational team setting.
