Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and screen students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
  • Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting strategies to support IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Act as a resource for teachers and families, offering strategies and support for communication development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to educational planning
