Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and screen students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
- Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting strategies to support IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Act as a resource for teachers and families, offering strategies and support for communication development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to educational planning
