Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting. This full-time, onsite position follows a recent late resignation and is available immediately. Youll make a direct impact as you provide speech and language services across multiple locations, including Morris, Gardner, and South Wilmington.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience delivering speech therapy in schools preferred
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain required documentation
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple school sites
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess students speech, language, and communication abilities to determine program eligibility and service needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and strategies in line with IEP goals
  • Deliver evidence-based, direct therapy to students individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Document student performance and maintain thorough records for compliance and reporting
  • Contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team to create positive educational outcomes
