Job Description

A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 school setting in Moreno Valley, CA. This contract position offers a natural school year schedule, providing an engaging opportunity to support student growth and communication development throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students across K-12.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on therapy goals and progress.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education services.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working as an SLP in school and healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
  • SLPA candidates with school or healthcare experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
