Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology is required
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the state of New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a school or similar setting
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of best practices for caseload management and IDEA compliance
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech therapy services to high school students
- Manage a dynamic caseload, including conducting assessments and maintaining IEPs
- Track and document progress, collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide case management, ensuring each students needs are met and services are compliant with regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative school community
