Your assignment will focus on serving primarily elementary and middle school students with a reasonable caseload, fostering impactful relationships and broadening your scope as an educator and clinician.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active ASHA CCC or Clinical Fellow eligibility (CFs welcome)
- Current AL SLP (ASHA) license
- Alabama Professional Educator License (verify at: https://tcert.alsde.edu/Portal/Public/Pages/SearchCerts.aspx)
- Willingness to supervise if holding CCCs
- Experience in schools, especially with elementary/middle school students, preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy, evaluations, and progress tracking for a caseload of about 60 students
- Work 37.5 hours per week, mainly onsite at one location (occasional split between two schools)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership for student success
- Supervise Clinical Fellows if eligible
