Job Description

Seeking motivated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about supporting students in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity runs through May 2027 and offers the chance to provide both therapy and evaluations across various educational settings. Multiple positions are available, with assignments involving collaboration at either a single school or across split campuses.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Holds a valid Alabama ASHA Certificate
  • Alabama Educator SLP Certificate is required (pending accepted to start)
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
  • Previous school-based experience highly valued
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work across multiple campuses, depending on assignment
  • Ability to manage a caseload up to 60 students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services to students
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings as needed
  • Travel between assigned campus locations if position requires
