Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Montgomery area. This onsite position is available for the upcoming academic year, providing the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners communication and educational growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Active SLP license issued by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) in Alabama
• Eligible for, or hold, a professional educator license for Alabama
• Experience in school-based SLP settings is preferred
• Comfortable working with both elementary and middle school-aged children
• Willingness to supervise if holding CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
• Ability to manage a caseload of around 60 students
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech, language, and communication services primarily to elementary and middle school students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and educational strategies
• Support students across typically one or, at times, two school sites
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Supervise Clinical Fellows as needed (if eligible)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
