Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA SLP licensure (CCC or Clinical Fellow) in Alabama
  • Current Alabama professional educator license (see state portal for verification)
  • Experience managing a caseload of approximately 60 students within an elementary or middle school setting is highly valued
  • Willingness to supervise if holding CCC certification
  • Adaptability to work primarily at one school site, with occasional days at a second location
  • Effective organization and collaboration skills
  • Ready to support diverse student needs, including language, articulation, and pragmatic disorders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy for students across elementary and middle school grades
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and goals
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Work closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to promote student progress and inclusion
  • Offer supervision and support for Clinical Fellows, if applicable, fostering professional growth
