Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Prior schools-based experience preferred, particularly with diverse populations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine speech-language needs and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to promote progress and positive outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of assessments, goals, and ongoing services
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of meaningful, measurable goals
  • Support and educate staff and families regarding communication strategies and best practices
