Job Description

This is a contract position working with pediatric populations, providing direct services to students and collaborating with educators and families to nurture student success near the Monroe, NY area.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school-based environments
  • Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Passion for making a difference in childrens academic and social growth

Responsibilities:

  • Provide screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy for students with speech, language, or communication needs
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of therapy strategies throughout the school day
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
  • Adapt intervention strategies to diverse learning environments and cultural backgrounds
