Job Description

Step into an essential position for the 2026-2027 school year, providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive educational environment. Two full-time contract openings are available for professionals who are passionate about student progress and communication growth within the Dallas, OR area.

Your role will involve collaborating with educators, families, and students to support speech and language development, crafting individualized strategies, and ensuring compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Oregon SLP license required
  • Experience in school settings preferred, including SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
  • Comfortable evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders for a school-based caseload
  • Strong teamwork skills to partner with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to document progress and maintain accurate records according to school district and state guidelines
  • Enthusiasm for fostering student success and inclusivity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify student speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultation services to assigned students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
  • Conduct screenings and ongoing evaluations as needed throughout the year
  • Support families with resources and education to enhance student outcomes
