Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Certification required
• Experience working with K-12 students, with an emphasis on elementary education
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Capable of delivering effective speech and language interventions to support diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students to enhance communication skills
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress regularly
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
• Participate in team meetings and support school initiatives related to speech-language development

Position Details:

• Location: Roanoke, VA (serving the surrounding Moneta area)
• Contract role with approximately 37.5 hours per week
• Serving full academic year (CSY and NSY)
