Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Strong background in pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Flexible and organized, able to adapt to the unique needs of each student

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students ages Pre-K through 12th grade
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention in a variety of school settings
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to support students academic and social growth
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and comply with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
  • Adapt therapy strategies to address both developmental and academic goals
