Opportunity available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in Mobile, Alabama. This role involves working on-site within the school system and supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This travel position offers the chance to gain diverse experience across two schools, including an elementary school and private schools clustered nearby.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a caseload spanning K-12 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation compliant with district and state regulations.
- Support students speech and language development needs across multiple school settings.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student progress reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification (CCC).
- Registration with the local Board of Speech Examiners is mandatory.
- Experience providing speech therapy services in school settings preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educational staff.
- Flexibility to travel and work in multiple school environments.
Position Details:
- Location: Mobile, AL
- Schools Assigned: Two (Forrest Hill Elementary School and nearby private schools)
- Schedule: 35 hours per week
- Contract Dates: Beginning March 2025 through May 29, 2026.
