Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings
  • Expertise conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapy plans
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Design and deliver individualized therapy sessions
  • Create and update progress reports in accordance with IEPs and educational guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and federal standards
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment for students to achieve their goals
