Job Description

We are seeking two dedicated professionals to provide invaluable support to learners throughout the San Juan Capistrano area on a full-time, contract basis beginning mid-October and November. These roles cover two leave-of-absence assignments, with exact dates to be confirmed. Youll be working closely with students in various school settings, delivering on-site therapy and collaborating with school staff to provide top-notch services.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active and valid California SLP license required
  • Previous experience delivering SLP services within school settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication abilities and the capacity to interact effectively with children, families, and educational professionals
  • Flexibility to work across multiple schools as assignment details are finalized

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to children at various grade levels, as assigned
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough, confidential records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
