Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota (MN) Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with the academic and social demands of elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within multidisciplinary educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) targeting each students specific speech and language needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to promote student progress and address challenges
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute valued input to support student success
