Job Description

Work within one welcoming building and connect with diverse learners from a caseload of 2040 students, including those in setting 4 special education programs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP preferred)
  • Experience delivering speech therapy in school settings
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and progress documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility, compassion, and commitment to student growth

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech/language therapy to students
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Consult with teachers and caregivers to support classroom integration
  • Implement evidence-based practices tailored to individual student needs
  • Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment across all interactions

This contract position is set to begin on September 8, 2026, and conclude on June 10, 2027. You will work full-time, totaling 37.5 hours per week, in one building that may serve students from South Education Center, North Education Center, Ann Bremer Education Center, or West Education Center.
