Step into a highly rewarding contract position supporting students through impactful speech-language services for the 2026-2027 academic year. You will provide both direct and indirect therapy to a diverse group of approximately 45-60 students, all onsite at a single school near Minneapolis, MN. The district is committed to a robust support system, ensuring dedicated space for therapy and offering thorough training including use of the districts IEP systemso you can focus on student progress and collaboration.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based speech-language pathology
- Strong understanding of school SLP procedures, including caseload management and IEP development
- Expertise in conducting thorough evaluations and designing individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with students, families, and staff
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students K-12 within a caseload model
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings as a vital team member
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create strategies that remove communication barriers
- Participate in paid team meetings and benefit from dedicated administrative/planning hours
- Leverage professional development opportunities and ongoing training for continued growth
