A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Minneapolis, MN area, providing specialized services in an early childhood, special education program focused on mental health. This role offers the chance to work 24 hours per week directly with students requiring speech and language support within the school system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to early childhood and special education students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals.
- Collaborate with educators, mental health professionals, and families to support holistic student development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and professional standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, especially with early childhood and special education programs.
- Knowledge of mental health considerations in speech and language therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
