Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Minnesota SLP license required
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in best practices for evaluating and treating K-12 speech and language disorders
- Strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working across various grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services according to student needs and schedules
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation, progress reports, and timely communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to collaborative educational planning
- Offer guidance and resources to families and teachers to ensure holistic student support
