Job Description
Step into a rewarding role supporting students communication and language development as a Speech Language Pathologist. Located near Minneapolis, MN, this contract position focuses on delivering impactful services within a school setting. This opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing leave coverage for the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programs SLP for the remainder of the academic year, with potential for summer evaluation assignments as well. Candidates should be available to start as soon as possible, with the position anticipated through June 4, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a valid Minnesota SLP License
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
Prior experience working in a school environment, ideally with ECSE caseloads
Strong understanding of assessment and intervention techniques for young children
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Collaborative team player with a commitment to helping all students succeed
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services according to students IEPs
Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide detailed evaluations
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state standards
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
Adapt services to meet a diverse student populations needs
