Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license (MN)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Demonstrated experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to work onsite during school hours, Monday through Friday
  • Passion for supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapeutic services to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress and adapt plans as needed
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education requirements
  • Engage in professional development and remain current on best practices in school-based speech therapy

This assignment is part-time, averaging approximately 18 hours per week, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. The position begins in March 2026 and continues through early June 2026, offering a supportive environment and the satisfaction of helping students succeed.
