Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an itinerant role near Minneapolis, MN. Working on-site with a diverse caseload, you'll cover multiple leaves through the end of the school year. Your expertise will play a critical part in helping students succeed in their communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Hold a valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience providing SLP services in a school setting strongly favored
- Skilled at evaluation, planning, and delivering therapy for a range of speech and language disorders
- Comfortable working with varied age groups and adapting services to individual student needs
- Ability to travel to different sites within the district as required
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success
- Manage caseload effectively, covering multiple leave absences as assigned
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and comply with district and state regulations
