A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Minneapolis, MN, supporting multiple elementary and middle school campuses to cover maternity leaves. This position focuses on providing therapy services within a 3:1 service delivery model (three weeks direct therapy, one week indirect), servicing a typical elementary school caseload including students in Setting III CDC. Evaluations are conducted by a separate team, so this role is focused solely on therapy.
Key Details:
- Location: Anoka, MN (multiple school sites including Brooklyn Center and Blaine)
- Employment Type: Contract
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Caseload is onsite and part-time at various buildings with flexible start and end dates based on maternity leave schedules
Expected Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students
- Manage caseload involving elementary and Setting III CDC students
- Collaborate with school staff and support indirect services during assigned weeks
- Provide high-quality therapy in accordance with school-based standards and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with relevant credentials
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings
- Availability for onsite work during contract period
