Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunities Minneapolis, MN (K-12 School Contract Positions)

Two contract positions are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services in an onsite K-12 school setting in Minneapolis, MN. These roles support general elementary speech and language needs within diverse student caseloads, including children with developmental cognitive disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.

Position Details:

  • Position 1: Immediate start through April 8, 2026
  • Position 2: February 1 to May 1, with possible extension to end of the school year
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload: Approximately 50 students per SLP, covering language and articulation disorders across disability areas
  • Service Delivery: Primarily onsite in general education and center-based programs
  • IEP Management: Experience with SpedForms preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language impairments
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Support children in both general education classrooms and specialized programs for developmental disabilities and autism
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably with pediatrics and autism spectrum disorders
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy and IEP development tools such as SpedForms
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
