This contract opportunity is for two licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) based onsite in Minneapolis, MN, serving general elementary school populations as well as center-based programs. The roles offer engaging work with diverse caseloads involving language, articulation, developmental cognitive disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders.
Position Details:
- Contract Duration:
- Position 1: ASAP through 4/8/26
- Position 2: 2/1 through 5/1 (potential extension for end-of-school-year coverage)
- Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Location: Onsite at two schools serving elementary-aged children
- Caseload: Approximately 50 students per caseload across multiple disability areas
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language services addressing language and articulation needs
- Support students in both general education and specialized center-based programs
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) using the SpedForms system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance therapy outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with state and district requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology License required
- Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and developmental cognitive disabilities beneficial
- Proficiency in using electronic IEP and documentation systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage diverse caseloads effectively
