Job Description

Provide essential Speech-Language Pathology services covering maternity leaves within an elementary school setting in the Minneapolis area. This contract assignment requires skilled professionals to support student communication development and meet individual therapy needs across multiple schools, with options for virtual participation.

Location and Schedule:

  • Based in Anoka, MN, serving elementary schools in Brooklyn Center, Champlin Park, and Blaine
  • Full-time contract: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Duration varies per caseload:
    • 12/15 to 3/23 (.2 virtual, Brooklyn Center)
    • Early/mid January to early/mid April (.4 virtual, Champlin Park)
    • 1/28 to 3/16 (.2 virtual, Blaine)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy aligned with student IEPs and educational goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid MN professional license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Must hold Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certification
  • Certified SLP (CCC) credential preferred
  • Contract opportunities open to licensed Speech-Language Pathologists; not open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
  • Virtual clinicians must comply with MN workload regulations (cannot exceed 40 hours weekly in the state)
  • Newly graduated candidates may apply for Clinical Fellowship positions for select assignments
  • Flexibility to cover one or multiple caseloads is advantageous
