Job Description
A supportive school district near Allentown, Florida is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join its team for the upcoming school year. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with an experienced speech team while providing essential services that help students achieve communication and academic success.
Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.
Position Details
Full-time schedule: 32.537.5 hours per week
Part-time applicants will be considered
Contract position within a school district
Collaborative and supportive therapy team
Opportunities to work with a variety of student populations
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Write measurable goals and maintain required documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student progress
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license
Florida school-based credentials
Previous school-based experience preferred
Clinical Fellows (CFs) and CCC-SLPs encouraged to apply
Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and school assignments
Professional references from the past two years
