Job Description
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Milton, FL, supporting elementary students within Escambia County. This contract position runs from August 12, 2026, through May 25, 2027, providing full-time hours of 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to approximately 45 elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student assessments and educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology credentials and certifications.
- Experience working in school settings as an SLP preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of elementary students effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- On-site work required.
Location:
- Milton, FL, servicing schools in Escambia County with assignment details to be determined.
Additional Information:
- Contract position.
- Prescreen interviews may be scheduled with flexible timing between 9:0011:00 AM or 2:003:00 PM EST.
- Fingerprint card not required.
