Job Description

Step into an impactful opportunity serving elementary and middle school students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Millbrook, AL area. Your expertise will be integral in supporting a primarily elementary and middle school caseload of around 60 students. Weekly schedules are set at 37.5 on-site hours, typically at one schoolwith occasional assignments split between two campuses. If you hold your CCCs, you must be comfortable supervising clinical fellows, but clinicians working towards certification will find strong mentorship and support here as well.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP (ASHA) certification for Alabama, or eligibility to obtain it
  • Professional educator license for Alabama
  • Ability to supervise CFs if CCCs are held
  • Experience working with school-age children preferred
  • Adaptable and collaborative, able to work across grade levels and school teams
  • Open to travelers, as well as local candidates

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop therapy plans for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload
  • Maintain compliant documentation and progress notes
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, special educators, and families
  • Supervise clinical fellows if qualified
  • Split time across multiple sites if needed based on student need
