Job Description

This rewarding contract opportunity is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for part-time applicants, and runs through the remainder of the school year. All services are delivered in-person, fostering direct engagement with students and collaboration with dedicated school staff.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license in the state of Michigan (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in K-5 settings
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and comprehensive documentation practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Adaptable, creative, and eager to work within diverse school communities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and direct therapy for students identified with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and evaluations
  • Participate in meetings and trainings as required by the schools policies
