Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services in an engaging school environment for the 2026/2027 school year. This on-site position supports students through direct therapy, evaluations, and collaboration within a dedicated educational team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware SLP license/certification, with confirmation required at submission
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Expertise in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering targeted speech therapy
  • Familiarity with Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP platforms is a plus
  • SLPAs are not being considered for this role

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech therapy services to students across assigned grades (caseload and specific grades to be determined)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and document results
  • Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collect and track student progress data, maintaining thorough therapy notes
  • Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and families
  • Utilize district software for documentation and compliance
