Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services in an engaging school environment for the 2026/2027 school year. This on-site position supports students through direct therapy, evaluations, and collaboration within a dedicated educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP license/certification, with confirmation required at submission
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Expertise in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering targeted speech therapy
- Familiarity with Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP platforms is a plus
- SLPAs are not being considered for this role
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech therapy services to students across assigned grades (caseload and specific grades to be determined)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document results
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collect and track student progress data, maintaining thorough therapy notes
- Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and families
- Utilize district software for documentation and compliance
