A rewarding opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics to provide essential support within a school setting. This contract position is located in Midlothian, VA, serving students across various grade levels from Pre-K through high school.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credentials required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Knowledge of early childhood development and speech therapy techniques
- Ability to support students in elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) grade ranges
- Licensed to practice as an SLP in the state
- Familiarity with assessment and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders in children
- Expertise in working with preschool and kindergarten-aged children
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students specific needs
